After witnessing the Beatles first American appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, I was inspired, like millions of others, to play music and share the music I love with others. After decades, I still take pleasure in sharing music that inspired me during the 60’s and 70’s with those who have an appreciation for the fabulous music that remains timeless today.

          Joe has been playing guitar and Bass for over two decades in a variety of bands, including pop, rock, and for the past two years, in the popular country band Laredo. Recently we have decided to merge our talents and perform together. We strive to produce the harmonies, and to duplicate the sounds of the original artists. Joe provides an additional blend of influences of the 80’s, 90’s and today.

         Together, the acoustic guitar duo of Carl Burgio and Oldskooljoe satisfy a variety of musical tastes. Whether playing at clubs, restaurants, outdoor patios, or special events, we enjoy bringing the party, and interacting with audiences with music trivia, interesting incite about the songs origins, and also the background of the performers.
